Hands-on coaching built around one player: their strengths, what they need to improve, and the confidence to use it all in games.
PDM Basketball is a player-focused basketball academy. It's easy to say that. It's harder to put it into practice, and private lessons are where you see it at the most fundamental level.
Whether it's a small group or a one-on-one session, our coaches take the time to get to know each player before they build the plan. They start with three questions:
PDM Private Skills Training gives players individual attention to target specific skills, sharpen what they already do well, and expand their skill set faster than a group setting allows.
No waiting in lines and no getting lost in a crowd. Every rep is watched, corrected, and built on by a coach focused on one player.
Individual workouts run at a higher intensity than group sessions, demanding real physical and mental effort, the same standard players face at the next level.
Sessions focus on exactly what each player needs, with the repetition and attention to detail it takes to make a skill stick.
The goal isn't just better drills. It's in-game confidence and success, plus a deeper understanding of how the game is played at the highest level.
Every lesson is built to turn individual work into results players can feel on game day.
Coaches learn each player's strengths, gaps, and confidence level, then build the session around them.
High-intensity, high-quality reps with constant feedback and attention to detail.
Skills are trained the way they're used in games, so the work shows up as real in-game confidence.
Train in the gym with full court access, or have a PDM coach come to your driveway. Every session is one hour of focused, individual coaching.
Every workout is done at a high intensity, maximizing the quality of reps and attention to detail players need at the next level, while building basketball IQ and knowledge of the game as it's played at the highest level.
The same PDM coaching, right at home. A convenient way to get focused reps on ball handling, shooting form, and fundamentals without the drive to a gym.

What coaches from FIBA and the NBA G-League say about PDM coach Aaron Redpath.
Aaron Redpath has a high basketball IQ. His understanding of the game is beyond a system, it's on the execution. Aaron is the perfect person to teach kids the understanding and execution of the game on top of the fundamentals. PDM Basketball will take you to the next level.
Aaron Redpath has a great understanding of the game from a player's perspective as well as a coach's perspective. Not all high level players possess this attribute, which makes Aaron an extremely valuable resource to teach young players the game.
Aaron was a great player for us at Saint John. He was a poised playmaker, a capable scorer, a knockdown shooter, and a fierce competitor. He always played with great technique, pace and vision while being a great orchestrator on the floor.

Basketball players of all kinds. Whether a player is just starting out, working toward rep tryouts, or preparing for the next level, sessions are built around their game and their goals.
Both. We offer one-on-one sessions and small group sessions. Either way, coaches take the time to get to know each player and give them individual attention.
In-gym sessions ($125 per hour) are high performance workouts with full court access, and the price includes gym rental. Driveway training ($70 per hour) brings a PDM coach to your home for focused fundamentals and skill work.
Every private session is one hour.
